What to expect
Floating is an experience like none other that takes some getting used to. Every float is a different experience based on the current needs of your mind and body. We suggest floating at least 3 times in your first 30-45 days, as it takes a few floats to truly tap into the deep benefits.
your first float experience
When you arrive our friendly staff will give you a tour of the float room, answer any questions you may have, and ensure you feel comfortable for your first float. Earplugs and a floating head-rest are available complimentary.
You'll enter our private sanitary float room and take a quick shower to rinse off any dirt, oils, or perfume before entering the float tank.
Floating is a unique experience that takes some getting used to. We suggest focusing on your breathing, letting go, and feel the warmth of the Epson saltwater against your skin.
once your float time is over soothing music will quietly play. After your session, you'll take another shower to rinse off any salt. Enjoy your new state of mind and make floating a habit.
improve your float experience
It's easy to stress over time. Focus on your breath and the warm water against your skin. The music and our staff will let you know when your session is over.
Drink plenty of water so that you are hydrated before your float, but don't drink do much right before your float session.
Each floating experience is unique, try to not have any expectations of your float. Your body will tell you what it needs, just focus on your breath and the warm water against your skin.
Avoid stimulates such as coffee or energy drinks. This makes it more difficult to calm your mind and tap into the deep relaxation benefits.
This will ensure nothing is touching your body and alleviate all pressures. Don't worry, our float tank is hyper filtered between each use with a high Epson salt count to kill any bacteria.
try different positions
Everyone is unique and there is no one perfect position. Try different positions until you find the one that works best for you. Arms at your side, above your head, palms up or palms down.
Focusing on your breathing is key to tapping into the deep benefits of floating. It allows your mind to focus on one thing, let's your mental worries float away, and reduces your stress.
Eat a light healthy meal
60-120 minutes before your float we encourage you to eat a light healthy meal. You want to float on a neutral stomach, not too full or too empty.
My husband and I have used the float tank multiple times. It makes our skin feel great and floating in the warm, dark, quiet is a reset button for your body and mind. Leaving us feeling fresh and relaxed.
